Digital Fundraising School Launches Fall Season

The popular crowdfunding school begins the Fall semester with a free class that anyone can attend online.

PRLog - Sep. 17, 2014 - SANTA MONICA, Calif. -- Digital fundraising school is starting its Fall semester with some exciting changes in format and material being taught.

"After teaching the past two semesters, I discovered that students who got the most out of class were launching their crowdfunding campaigns in real time in parallel with the class," said Lee Schneider, founder of the online school.

The school has switched to a new format, teaching classes two times per week, and adding in a semiprivate coaching call for all students.

"I teach for USC as well. While teaching my USC media class I learned that students really liked the format of having a class in the beginning of the week, then reinforcing what we learned in a second session that week, and also having access to me to discuss moving forward on what they learned," said Schneider

Digital Fundraising School is putting that lesson plan into practice immediately.

The first free online class is Thursday September 18. The hourlong session will introduce students to the must-know aspects of crowdfunding that lead to success in a campaign. There will be another free class in early October. Regular crowdfunding classes begin October 9, 2014. Classes are held online two times per week, with a coaching call for students every Monday. Students can attend class from anywhere, and each class is recorded so students can listen and watch later.
